Last Saturday, on the eve of the breaking of the great 2012 Chicago Heatwave, I found myself sharing a very intimate evening with 50,000 others listening to country sensation Kenny Chesney. (There it’s out – I’m a closet country music fan!)
With our daily lives filled to capacity, I like many, don’t often take advantage of the fact that there’s so much music in Chicago. However with all of these choices, when I think about music in the Summer I can’t help but think about Ravinia.
Since 1904, Ravinia has been Chicago’s “sound of summer,” a place where you can have a wonderful time and hear some of the greatest music in the world. It has become a Chicago Tradition to many, with the “Ravinia Experience” sharing time with friends under the Oaks and stars.
This month we wanted to take the “guesswork” out of your musical experience for the next month and urge you to take advantage of our favorite, “Chicago Home Partner Ravinia Concerts” below in no particular order.
