A Day in the Life
Avondale Park is a great place to start the day off well. Five acres of landscaped green space provides plenty of space to stretch out and relax, but you can also take one of the classes that are on offer for both children and adults. Green-thumbed Avondale residents can take part in the Community Gardens in the Parks program — a perfect way to meet people while you help beautify your neighborhood.

Avondale is bordered on the north by W. Addison, on the south by W. Diversey, on the east by N. Western, and on the west by N. Pulaski. The neighborhood is served by a generous number of bus lines, including:

- Running East and West: Addison Street #152, Belmont Avenue #77, and Diversey Parkway #76.
